The programme is primarily intended for graduates with a strong numerate background. Our normal minimum entry requirement is the equivalent of a UK 2:1 degree in mathematics or statistics, or a related discipline with a high mathematics or statistics content (such as economics or physics).
The degree is challenging and it is necessary to be able to work hard and to have a strong drive to succeed.
If your first language is not English, we'll need to see evidence of your English language ability. The minimum English language requirement for entry to this programme is IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) with no score lower than 6.0. TOEFL: 79 (including reading 18, listening 17, speaking 20, and writing 21).
