The Pore-scale Modeling team employs diverse cutting-edge simulation methods to investigate core recovery processes in underground reservoirs. Their approach spans from sophisticated pore-level modeling techniques—encompassing pore reconstruction methods and multi-scale pore network integration—to reservoir-scale simulations of various special core analysis measurements. These modeling efforts are consistently supported by experimental data from multiple research areas, including micromodel studies and core flooding experiments.
