The field of computing science spans diverse areas: from coding and developing complex software solutions to creating and assessing user interfaces, algorithmic systems, computer networks, AI technologies, data retrieval methods, and large-scale data processing platforms. Established in 2017, the School of Computing Science's groundbreaking Centre for Computing Science Education demonstrates our dedication to educational excellence and forward-thinking teaching approaches. Computing Science graduates earn accreditation from the British Computer Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT, fulfilling the educational criteria for Chartered IT Professional (CITP) status.
