The MSc Professional Accountancy (ACCA Route) provides dual certification, enabling you to earn both a GCU master's degree and your Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) professional credential. You can pursue this program online or at our Glasgow campus, with full-time or part-time options to accommodate your schedule. Designed for students who've completed ACCA's applied knowledge and skills papers (or hold exemptions from these nine exams through an ACCA-accredited degree), this program integrates with ACCA's Strategic Professional exams - you can take these assessments after each module. (For those needing to complete foundational exams, GCU provides this opportunity through our ACCA Gold-accredited course.) Graduates will acquire essential professional accounting competencies for global business contexts, including critical analysis of financial leadership challenges. The program prepares you for modern management demands while offering research opportunities in your chosen business specialization. It also serves as a stepping stone for doctoral studies. Upon graduation, you'll hold both ACCA exam qualification and an MSc, distinguishing you from other graduates while equipping you for leadership positions across private and public sectors.
