Adult nursing offers a fulfilling and challenging career path that requires specialized skills and deep compassion. You'll gain expertise in diverse areas, from providing health education to individuals across various backgrounds to managing intricate care for patients with multiple acute or chronic conditions. This program prepares nurses to deliver personalized, safe, and high-quality care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals in today's complex medical landscape. The curriculum includes diverse clinical placements and employs multiple learning methods. Half of the program involves hands-on practice across hospital, community, independent, and voluntary sector settings. During placements, students engage in nursing duties tailored to their specialization. GCU's cutting-edge learning environment combines digital and in-person instruction, along with advanced simulation technology, to cultivate nursing competencies. Upon graduation, students qualify for NMC registration as Registered Nurses, opening doors to NHS roles where they can directly serve patients and families, or pursue leadership, management, and research opportunities.
