Construction Managers, whether on-site or in-office, collaborate with diverse professionals including architects and tradespeople. This program explores numerous technical, financial, and planning concepts through both theoretical and practical approaches, utilizing both conventional and digital learning techniques. The majority of Scotland's Construction Management professionals received their training at GCU. Throughout the course, industry specialists deliver guest lectures, and to further develop students' personal, professional, and career-ready abilities, third-year participants can undertake a six-month work placement. Additionally, students may pursue international study options in Europe, Australia, or the United States. The program holds full accreditation from both the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Alumni have secured positions with leading firms including Lend Lease, BAM Construction, Clark Contracts, Galliford Try, Sir Robert McAlpine, Balfour Beatty, Laing O'Rourke, McLaughlin and Harvey, Persimmon Homes, and Ogilvie Construction.
