You'll build a portfolio showcasing contemporary Heritage & Exhibition Design for the modern era. Over three terms, you'll cultivate essential abilities in visitor experience design while gaining insightful understanding of museum and heritage locations through hands-on exhibition design practices, engaging storytelling spaces, and experiential creation.

The program will familiarize you with designing for museums, cultural trails, and hybrid interpretation methods, teaching you to craft thought-provoking, interactive educational encounters via practical and real-world projects.

You'll establish cooperative relationships across Scotland's heritage industry to refine your expertise and awareness of challenging historical narratives.

Qualification Requirements

The entry requirement for this course is a Bachelor (Honours) Degree at 2:2 or above in an art & design or related discipline (architecture, creative computing & engineering design). We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient professional work experience within the industry. All candidates are interviewed with a portfolio of creative work or technical/business projects. Applicants from overseas can be interviewed by teleconference with an online portfolio. Students need to have IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with no component below 5.5 and TOEFL Internet Based Test - 80 overall with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing.
