Each candidate will be matched with a primary supervisor and an Advisor to collaboratively develop their research plan. We're happy to consult about your academic interests prior to application.
Regular meetings with your supervisor(s) will be required to review your advancement.
During your initial year (or second year for part-time scholars), you'll prepare a 5,000-word project evaluated by a faculty member other than your supervisor(s) to monitor development.
We'll support you in working systematically toward timely degree completion.
An annual progress report, jointly prepared with your supervisor(s), will be due each July.
Thesis evaluation will be conducted by both internal and external examiners upon submission.
We actively promote conference participation and paper presentations among research students, with departmental financial assistance available when feasible.
