The BSc in Psychological and Behavioural Science offers a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited program that merges core psychology studies with advanced training in behavioural science. This emerging field applies psychological insights to real-world challenges across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Where psychology examines the mental processes behind actions, behavioural science concentrates on measurable outcomes and developing effective interventions to modify behaviour.
The curriculum delivers modern research techniques alongside foundational and contemporary psychological theories, adhering to BPS standards. Students learn to translate this knowledge into impactful solutions for business, management, and policy. The program also offers optional placement years or international study opportunities, extending the three-year course to four years.
The first year establishes essential foundational knowledge and competencies.
Second-year studies deepen these skills while covering all BPS accreditation requirements, qualifying graduates for Chartered Membership eligibility (GBC).
Final-year students undertake independent dissertation research and choose from specialized modules taught by leading experts, gaining exposure to cutting-edge theoretical debates and research findings in the field.
