Our Bachelor of Science in Anthropology program offers a comprehensive exploration of human existence, spanning from our evolutionary beginnings to contemporary cultural and behavioral variations. This program integrates biological anthropology with archaeology and primatology, providing insights into humanity's connections with both living and extinct species.
You'll examine biological anthropology alongside social anthropology and cross-disciplinary health perspectives, gaining a well-rounded academic foundation.
The initial year establishes core competencies in anthropological theory and practice, covering essential elements of both social and biological anthropology, plus interdisciplinary health studies.
During the second year, you'll advance your understanding of biological and evolutionary anthropology while participating in practical research through various local fieldwork opportunities.
The final year focuses on independent research, culminating in a dissertation project. You'll also engage in our immersive Field Course Module - either through a week-long European residential program or via our Virtual Field Course option.
Throughout the program, you'll transition from knowledge acquisition to knowledge creation, preparing for advanced study or professional careers. The three-year program can be extended to four years with optional study abroad or placement opportunities.
