Through British, European, and World archaeology modules, you'll cultivate specialized expertise in archaeological and heritage studies across multiple regions, including Europe, the Near East, North Africa, and South/East Asia.
Hands-on training through practical sessions, laboratory work, and fieldwork options will develop your competencies in key areas like data interpretation, remote sensing, GIS mapping, material analysis, 3D reconstruction, museum studies, and osteological examination.
Your first year establishes fundamental archaeological knowledge and practical abilities. Subsequent years focus on specialized topics and methodologies, including collaborative work with faculty on independent research initiatives. The program also offers opportunities to extend your studies through placement years or international exchanges, expanding the standard three-year curriculum to four years.
