Our comprehensive engineering program prepares future aerospace specialists by delivering technical expertise across critical aeronautical disciplines, while also covering material science, digital production, and management principles. Graduates will acquire cutting-edge technical capabilities for the aviation field combined with essential business knowledge.
The curriculum includes subjects like Engineering Business Context and Research Techniques, Advanced Material Science and Structural Design, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Flight Mechanics, plus both crewed and autonomous aircraft development and upkeep.

Entry criteria
You should have the equivalent of a British Honours degree (2:2 minimum) in a relevant subject, such as Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline such as Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
We are happy to consider equivalent qualifications from anywhere in the world.
If you have no formal academic qualifications but do have extensive industry experience we will consider your application on an individual basis.
International students must also have a valid ATAS certificate to study at DMU to enrol on the course.
If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) when you start the course is essential.
