The Master of Arts in Fine Art program is structured to equip you for ongoing growth in artistic, professional, and academic pursuits. Our program fosters the development of customized research approaches and personal objectives aligned with your creative work and career aspirations. You'll explore current developments in modern artistic practice, covering aspects like exhibition design, installation techniques, curation, and representational challenges, while learning to employ research methodologies that guide your artistic choices.
We motivate students to inquire deeply and establish individual critical perspectives within the global creative landscape, providing the tools needed to create and showcase artwork, adapt to the rapidly changing creative sector, and push boundaries in artistic traditions.
Instruction occurs in our vibrant studio setting with guidance from expert technical staff, complemented by access to specialized workshops for material experimentation and process innovation. Our faculty includes exhibiting artists and research-focused academics with cross-disciplinary knowledge spanning traditional and digital media, sculpture, photography, printmaking, public art, and installation practices. Throughout the program, you'll cultivate essential professional skills through exhibition opportunities and curation experiences. Engage in meaningful discourse about your practice by joining critique sessions and seminars, while collaborating with a diverse community of Fine Art students across undergraduate to doctoral levels.
Program Length: One year for full-time students, two years for part-time study.
