You'll learn cutting-edge methods and tools for creating standalone, web, and mobile games with impressive visuals and animations, while gaining foundational knowledge of game architecture, design principles, and programming languages used in game development.
Join our active gaming community through the Game Society or E-Sports Society. Enhance your coursework experience by participating in gaming sessions, attending professional events, and entering competitions. Collaborate with Game Art students during game jams through our Games Development Society.
Gain real-world experience with an optional placement year. Past Computer Games Programming students have completed internships as Software Engineers and Programmers at companies like Virtual Arts, a leader in immersive technology.

A typical offer is 112 UCAS points from at least two A-levels, or
BTEC National Diploma/ Extended Diploma at DMM
Plus, five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
Alternative qualifications include:
Pass in the QAA accredited Access to HE with English and Mathematics GCSE required as a separate qualification.
We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course.
