This program equips you with comprehensive, industry-aligned knowledge of information systems while allowing specialization in your chosen areas.
As you progress through the curriculum, you'll develop professional competencies essential for careers in information systems. The course integrates perspectives from DMU's globally recognized research centers, weaving ethical considerations and technology impacts throughout all modules.
We maintain a strong focus on professional standards through our partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The curriculum covers industry-standard methodologies, tools, and technologies while examining their foundational theories. Our faculty includes active researchers and industry consultants, with many involved in pioneering research initiatives.
Graduates leave prepared for diverse career paths in both industry and academia, possessing the skills for continuous professional development. The program opens doors to roles including business systems specialist, intelligence analyst, developer positions, data/system architecture, various management disciplines (security, project, knowledge), and business advisory services.
Duration: Three years full-time, four years with placement option
