Mechanical Engineering impacts nearly every facet of contemporary society. This field drives innovation across multiple sectors such as transportation, medical technology, infrastructure, and automation.
Our curriculum and instruction draw from cutting-edge research in specialized domains like aerodynamic systems, hydraulic applications, mobility solutions, production techniques, and eco-friendly initiatives. These investigations are supported by our dedicated Mechanical Engineering Lab, which facilitates studies in thermal dynamics, structural integrity, and motion analysis.
Students develop core analytical abilities through coursework including Fundamental Engineering Concepts and Mechanical Systems Development. Specialized modules like Project Design Leadership, Innovative Engineering Materials, and Professional Engineering Practice prepare graduates with industry-relevant competencies.
The program offers both a three-year Bachelor's degree (BEng Hons) and a four-year integrated master's pathway. After the third year, qualified students may either graduate with a BEng or advance to the MEng program.
BEng duration: Three years full-time, or four years with industrial placement
