The BA (Hons) Performance in Musical Theatre program is accredited by De Montfort University. Applicants must possess 96 UCAS points (New Tariff) and be at least 18 years old by September 1st. Submission requires applications through both our website's Audition System and UCAS. Performance Preparation Academy fosters a vibrant community of artists, professionals, and educators. We cultivate a secure and encouraging atmosphere that emphasizes collaborative teamwork among faculty and students. Our program nurtures enduring personal and professional connections through diverse learning opportunities, rehearsal projects, and public performances. Focused on personal growth, our dedicated instructors provide comprehensive training to develop versatile performers for the Musical Theatre field. Third-year students undertake a self-directed research project, enhancing their professional understanding. The PPA Agency offers exceptional industry connections, assisting graduates with agent introductions, casting director meetings, and employment prospects. We actively support students in building professional networks through performances, auditions, practical experience, and our annual Industry Showcase.
Students need 96 UCAS Tariff Points (From Level 3 studies or equivalent, which normally includes an A Level or BTEC Extended Diploma in a Music/ Dance/ Acting-related subject), Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (including English Language at Grade C/ Grade 4 or above, or an equivalent international qualification).
