This program provides comprehensive insights into key global developments shaping our world, such as the emergence of China and India as major powers, the Syrian conflict, counterterrorism challenges, and ongoing poverty and inequality issues in developing nations.

Select from diverse modules like Comparative Global Politics, Anti-Corruption Strategies, Globalization History, Nationalism Studies, and US Presidential Politics.

Our curriculum blends academic concepts with real-world applications through simulations, parliamentary committee collaborations, and the DMU Policy Commission - an innovative module where faculty and students jointly develop policy solutions for current political challenges.
Duration: Three-year full-time option, or four years including a professional placement.

Qualification Requirements

A typical offer is 112 UCAS points from at least two A-levels, or
BTEC National Diploma/Extended Diploma at DMM
Plus, five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and Mathematics.

Alternative qualifications include:

Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent) with English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade 4
We will normally require students to have had a break from full time education before undertaking the Access course.

International Baccalaureate: 26+ points
If English is not your first language, an IELTS core of 6.0 (including a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent is normally required.
