This Illustration with Graphic Design program helps enhance your visual creation, design, and illustration abilities, enabling you to cultivate and polish your unique artistic style. You'll tackle various projects that let your creativity and skills flourish across digital, motion, and print media.
Throughout the program, you'll gain expertise in analyzing briefs, recognizing challenges, and crafting original illustration and design solutions. You'll also engage with professional and competitive briefs, strengthening your industry knowledge and career readiness.
The curriculum prepares you for a career as an illustrator and creative professional: The first year establishes core drawing and design foundations; the second year helps you discover and refine your personal style through creative assignments and workshops; the final year focuses on professional development and practical experiences, guiding you toward your creative career goals.
This Illustration with Graphic Design degree shares some modules with the BA (Hons) Graphic Design course, letting you develop specialized illustration techniques alongside essential graphic design skills while collaborating with fellow creative students.

Normally 104 UCAS points from at least two A-levels or equivalent, with Art and Design at grade C or above or
Art and Design BTEC National Diploma/ Extended Diploma at DMM
Plus five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English or equivalent.
Alternative qualifications include:
Pass in the QAA accredited Access to HE Art and Design course with at least 15 credits in Art and Design at merit. English GCSE required as a separate qualification as equivalency is not accepted within the Access qualification. We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course or
International Baccalaureate: 24+ points including Art and Design at higher level grade 5 or
T Levels Merit or
Art and Design Foundation Diploma: Pass
English language
