The modern languages option allows you to study Chinese Mandarin, French, or Spanish alongside your English literature degree. This includes beginner or intermediate language courses, featuring two weekly language sessions plus one cultural studies hour. The cultural awareness component explores the history, traditions, political systems, and literary heritage of your chosen language. In your final year, you can specialize by selecting career-focused language studies, such as business language courses, providing valuable insights for your professional future.
