At DMU, you can begin your Mandarin studies at beginner, intermediate (GCSE), or advanced levels, progressing at a speed tailored to your individual requirements.
Acquiring a new language doesn't just build linguistic abilities—it also strengthens your native language proficiency while refining your presentation, writing, and analytical capabilities.
Your coursework will include Education Studies modules such as Educational Perspectives, Diversity and Inclusion, Learning and Wellbeing Fundamentals, along with Special Educational Needs, Disabilities, and Neurodiversity. Additionally, you'll participate in weekly language drills, conversational practice, and intensive workshops that explore the country's culture, society, and people to enhance your linguistic abilities.
