The Centre for Intelligent Healthcare strives to establish itself as a world-renowned research hub for groundbreaking, influential studies in digital healthcare and its role in enhancing community well-being while extending and enriching individual lives.
The most pressing issue for our healthcare system is sustaining population health while alleviating strain on the NHS. This becomes particularly crucial as chronic conditions become more widespread. By empowering individuals to track their health at home or within their communities instead of hospitals, we can create advantages for both citizens and the healthcare system.
Achieving this goal demands innovative approaches to remotely detect, manage illnesses, and prevent health deterioration. However, for these solutions to gain acceptance, they must be supported by rigorous research. The core purpose of the new Centre for Intelligent Healthcare is to deliver this essential evidence base.

Qualification Requirements
A minimum of a 2-1 first degree in a relevant discipline subject area with a minimum 60 percent mark in the project element or equivalent with a minimum 60 percent overall module average.
In the event of a first degree classification of less than 2-1 a Masters Degree in a relevant subject area will be considered as an equivalent.
The Masters must have been attained with minimum overall marks at merit level 60 percent In addition the dissertation or equivalent element in the Masters must also have been attained with a minimum mark of merit level 60 percent.
