Enhancing signal processing stands as a primary method for boosting flow meter capabilities, whether through increased measurement precision or by expanding operational ranges to handle more challenging scenarios like gas/liquid mixtures.
Prism Signal Processing represents an innovative approach created by our team to tackle instrumentation challenges posed by the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0. This recursive finite impulse response (FIR) filter delivers linear phase response and numerical stability. Unlike traditional FIR filters, Prism's computations are entirely recursive, making processing costs unaffected by filter length.
Another advantage of Prism is its straightforward filter design, enabling real-time creation of new signal processing structures within constrained devices as signal characteristics or processing needs evolve.
Various signal processing methods have been developed using Prism technology, including static/dynamic notch filters, band-pass filters, and tracking systems that identify frequency, phase, and amplitude of sinusoidal signals. These tools inherit Prism's hallmark features of swift computation and simple configuration.
