The CFCI combines our specialized knowledge in finance, economics, corporate accountability, and legal studies to establish an ideal platform for investigating the interconnected and cross-disciplinary aspects of modern financial and economic challenges affecting international businesses. As a postgraduate researcher at the Centre, you'll have the chance to connect with our faculty, join our vibrant PhD community, and showcase your work to broad audiences. The CFCI offers numerous initiatives for our postgraduate research community, including: 1) Community-building gatherings focused on student experiences and networking, 2) A regular seminar series featuring presentations from members, visiting international scholars, and guest speakers, and 3) Specialized workshops covering topics like quantitative research methods and technical skills.
This research initiative focuses on generating and sharing knowledge through both empirical and theoretical studies in corporate finance and governance. It acts as a collaborative space that enables multidisciplinary research among CFCI members, other research centers, and scholars worldwide. Additionally, it offers comprehensive support to our postgraduate researchers working on finance and corporate governance topics.

Qualification Requirements
A minimum of a 2-1 first degree in a relevant discipline subject area with a minimum 60 percent mark in the project element or equivalent with a minimum 60 percent overall module average.
In the event of a first degree classification of less than 2-1 a Masters Degree in a relevant subject area will be considered as an equivalent.
The Masters must have been attained with minimum overall marks at merit level 60 percent In addition the dissertation or equivalent element in the Masters must also have been attained with a minimum mark of merit level 60 percent.
