Success in education and life requires diverse skills and experiences.
Learners need to comprehend various forms of information, from written content to complex numerical data. They should articulate their thoughts effectively through both writing and speech. Additionally, essential interpersonal abilities include adapting to different educational settings, collaborating with peers, and recognizing personal capabilities and limitations. These competencies remain crucial throughout one's educational journey.
Our research explores how these skills evolve and how educational settings can optimally nurture them. We focus especially on how environmental factors, psychological aspects, and fundamental abilities interact to shape learning trajectories from early schooling through higher education and later life.
A key objective of this initiative is addressing disparities caused by difficulties in understanding written and numerical information. Educational achievement gaps persist across all levels among different demographics, and a significant portion of our efforts targets bridging these divides.
