CAMC offers an outstanding collaborative space where top-tier researchers, artists, and creative professionals across disciplines actively engage with one another's work while supporting emerging scholars and postgraduate researchers. Our center invites postgraduate students to join a distinguished research community, discovering vibrant hubs of innovation and education under the mentorship of field-leading experts.

As part of the Creative Cultures research initiative, the Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities (CAMC) investigates how artistic expression helps us interpret history and enhance contemporary living. Our interdisciplinary team studies the historical, social, and political aspects of cultural creation through both theoretical and practical research approaches. Utilizing varied methodologies, creative practices, and critical frameworks, we examine and harness creativity's power to strengthen community bonds, improve individual wellbeing, and shape more promising tomorrows. While globally connected, CAMC maintains strong local roots, with members actively enhancing Coventry's cultural institutions and championing greater accessibility to artistic and heritage experiences for community enrichment.
