Our strong industry connections provide opportunities to showcase your work to leading professionals. The Automotive Design MA program positions you for career advancement. You'll tackle studio assignments and real-world projects while mastering theoretical foundations, 2D visualization, and cutting-edge 3D techniques for solving design challenges in exterior, interior, color, and trim applications. Our advanced facilities feature an automotive clay modeling studio, laser cutting, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and a 12-camera motion capture system for analyzing human movement and machine interaction.
Alumni have achieved leadership roles as design directors and chief designers at prestigious companies including Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley, Ford, Aston Martin, and Volvo.

Qualification Requirements
You should have a degree in industrial, product, automotive or transport design. Entry Qualifications equivalent to 2:1 in an automotive, transport, industrial or product design related degree or relevant professional experience. (and the required IELTS qualifications, if applicable). A 500 word personal statement suggesting area of potential MA research. This course requires IELTS of 6.0. Pre-sessional English is available if required.
