The Centre for Maternal and Child Health delivers impactful studies focused on enhancing healthcare for women, children, and families. Our midwifery research is consistently recognized as world-class. You'll join one of our specialized research teams: Maternal and child healthcare models, Perinatal mental health, or Public health disparities. Recent doctoral projects have investigated: Birth location choices, Digital interventions for postpartum anxiety, Healthcare system impacts on maternal outcomes, Quality of maternal care in sub-Saharan Africa. The Department of Midwifery and Radiography fosters a dynamic global research community with professionals from diverse fields including midwifery, psychology, and anthropology.
