You can pursue your research degree in the Division of Population Medicine, which examines healthcare delivery within its broader environmental context. The Division strives to enhance health outcomes and healthcare systems through innovative research, teaching, and community engagement. Its postgraduate research programs emphasize Prevention and healthcare service redesign, exploring root causes of health issues, preventive strategies to minimize harm, and improvements in treatment approaches. These initiatives aim to optimize healthcare quality, cost efficiency, and equity. Postgraduate researchers regularly showcase their work at the Division's Academic Weekly Meetings and the School of Medicine's annual Postgraduate Research Day. Early-career researchers benefit from guidance by experienced academics and clinician scientists, with non-clinical experts forming a key part of our interdisciplinary team. All PhD and Post Doc candidates receive joint supervision from multidisciplinary teams, regular access to advisors, constructive feedback during weekly seminars, and financial assistance for additional training and conference participation.
Full-time program durations: PhD 3-4 years, MD 2 years, MPhil 1 year
