Applied Clinical Research and Public Health represents a specialized field where you can concentrate your academic pursuits through our Dentistry research programs (MPhil, PhD). We encourage applications from prospective students aiming to pursue advanced research degrees. Our department provides exceptional guidance and resources across diverse research topics. You'll have the opportunity to participate in dynamic research initiatives including: National Dental Health Surveys for all age groups, Studies in Epidemiology and treatment efficacy, Research on Violence and Social Impact, Orthodontic Studies with 3D Facial Development Analysis, Endodontic Research, Investigations into Dentine Sensitivity, and Clinical Trial Programs.

Qualification Requirements

Suitable for graduates in scientific, clinical or engineering subjects, eg biosciences, chemistry, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy.

Applicants should normally hold a good honours degree, MSc or equivalent and be able to show research competence for master's or doctoral level entry.
For clinical programmes we require a minimum IELTS score of 7 overall (with a minimum score of 6 in each of the four sub-sections)
TOEFL (iBT) - At least 100 overall
International Baccalaureate (Language A) - HL 5 or SL 6
