The MSc in Social Science Research Methods delivers comprehensive advanced instruction in research methodologies spanning all social science disciplines. Each pathway holds ESRC accreditation and fulfills the training criteria for ESRC doctoral funding eligibility.

International Relations Specialization
The International Relations track maintains strong connections with the International Studies Research Unit (ISRU), covering broad research domains. Instruction comes from field specialists, while students benefit from the department's established partnerships with the Welsh Centre for International Affairs and the United Nations Association (Wales).
