Among the limited UK-based MSc programs catering to certified occupational therapy practitioners, our Master's degree delivers a robust foundation in professional theories, models, and occupation-centered methodologies. The curriculum prioritizes cultivating superior clinical reasoning abilities and fostering innovative concepts rooted in evidence-based approaches. With a strong focus on self-directed learning within a research-intensive setting, the program enables you to refine your analytical, critical thinking, and solution-finding capabilities. Through collaboration with both clinical practitioners and research-focused faculty, you'll expand your professional mastery across four key advanced practice domains: leadership and administration, teaching, investigation, and specialized clinical work. Full-time participants will complete five instructional modules for the postgraduate diploma, followed by a selected dissertation component to earn the MSc qualification.

Career opportunities - The MSc program helps sharpen your analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities while expanding both theoretical knowledge and practical occupational therapy skills, which you can implement to drive professional progress. Earning this postgraduate credential opens diverse career pathways, whether pursuing specialized clinical roles, transitioning into managerial or leadership positions, or moving into educational fields.
