You'll gain strong theoretical foundations complemented by hands-on experience through labs, research projects, field visits, and design workshops - all preparing you for a rewarding career in civil engineering. You can choose elective modules with architectural focuses.

A unique feature of this MEng Architectural Engineering (International) program is the opportunity to spend a semester studying engineering in English at an overseas partner institution. Previous students have studied in locations including Hong Kong, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

The four-year MEng program enables you to deepen your architectural engineering expertise during the final two years. You'll gain advanced design and management skills, along with techniques for overseeing multidisciplinary engineering projects.

A BEng program providing fundamental architectural engineering knowledge
The option for an industrial placement year with relevant four-year BEng or five-year MEng programs.
