Our interdisciplinary program, centered on electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering principles, is designed to cultivate specialists in manufacturing, mechatronics, CAD, and sustainable energy systems. You'll develop comprehensive engineering expertise that enables collaboration with professionals across different fields while gaining insight into business operations.

During your studies, you'll engage with real-world engineering challenges and industry-relevant case studies, working both independently and alongside peers from other engineering disciplines. Collaborative projects simulate real engineering team dynamics, helping you develop essential professional competencies like teamwork and effective communication. Our accessible makerspace offers facilities for designing, innovating, and working cooperatively.

The program includes an optional paid placement opportunity, which can be undertaken either in the UK or internationally. This valuable experience lets you apply your acquired skills in a professional setting. Previous students have secured placements with leading companies including Boeing, Network Rail, Siemens, Keysight Technologies, and Bosch.

The MEng curriculum enables you to deepen and broaden your integrated engineering knowledge through advanced design and management studies, along with multidisciplinary engineering design projects.

Qualification Requirements

A level
AAA-AAB. Must include grade A in Maths. You will need to pass the science practical element of the A-level if this is part of your programme of study.

Extended/International Project Qualification: Applicants with grade A in the EPQ/IPQ will typically receive an offer one grade lower than the standard A level offer. Please note that any subject specific requirements must still be met.
International Baccalaureate
36-34 overall or 666 in 3 HL subjects. Must include grade 6 in HL Maths.
GCSE
Grade C or grade 4 in GCSE English Language.

IELTS - At least 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-score
TOEFL iBT - At least 90 with minimum scores of 17 for writing, 17 for listening, 18 for reading and 20 for speaking
