Our integrated master's program in Biological Science is designed for future researchers and science professionals. This four-year undergraduate program allows you to investigate cutting-edge developments in your selected discipline while gaining expertise in sophisticated research methodologies. We provide an extensive selection of biological science subjects, covering: plant and animal biology; microbiology; genetics; systems biology; ecology; disease processes; behavioral studies; neuroscience; zoology; developmental and stem cell biology; and evolutionary science. Our Ecology and Conservation component includes subsidized field trips across the UK and internationally, such as River Ecology in Wales, Tropical Marine Ecology in Tobago, and Rainforest Biodiversity in Malaysia. You'll have the flexibility to customize your degree, either specializing in a specific biological area or maintaining a broad interdisciplinary approach. The final year features an intensive research project conducted in an active laboratory setting, potentially yielding publishable results. You'll receive guidance from experienced researchers, honing your skills as a professional scientist. This program serves as exceptional preparation for diverse careers in biological sciences and research. Alumni have pursued rewarding paths in marine biology, conservation, pharmaceutical research, science communication, education, veterinary medicine, and beyond, with many continuing to advanced academic studies.

Extended/International Project Qualification: Applicants with grade A in the EPQ/IPQ will typically receive an offer one grade lower than the standard offer.
36-32 overall or 666-665 in 3 HL subjects. Must include grade 6 in HL Biology or Chemistry.
At least 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each subskill.
At least 90 overall with a minimum of 17 for writing, 17 for listening, 18 for reading, and 20 for speaking.
