Renowned as one of the UK's top institutions, the Welsh School of Architecture strives to enhance our world through thoughtful, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions. Our programs equip students with comprehensive skills needed for architectural practice, nurturing them into versatile professionals. The curriculum encompasses creative design, construction techniques, environmental considerations, sustainability principles, professional ethics, and architectural history. Our distinctive BSc/MArch program features a practical year in architectural practice after the initial three-year BSc, followed by a final academic year. This structure fulfills Parts 1 and 2 of the UK's architect qualification, with both degrees accredited by RIBA and ARB. Aspiring UK-registered architects can complete their training through our Part 3 Professional Practice program. Studio work forms the core of our courses, with progressively complex design projects that integrate various architectural skills. Students benefit from excellent facilities including design studios, workshops, and CAD resources. Our teaching team combines permanent faculty with practicing architects, offering diverse perspectives. As Wales' premier architecture school, we maintain strong connections with the Welsh Government, construction industry, local practices, and international partners.
