This program will provide you with a comprehensive foundation in the theoretical frameworks, key concepts, fundamental principles, and analytical methods of core economics subjects: macroeconomics, microeconomics, and quantitative methods. It's designed to give you both an understanding of the UK economic system and the skills to apply this knowledge in various situations. You'll explore the full spectrum of economic theory while having opportunities to develop expertise in specialized fields such as industrial economics, economic history, labor economics, and international economics. As economics relies heavily on quantitative methods and mathematical approaches, certain modules will incorporate statistical components while others will focus on advanced mathematical applications. The Economics with German program delivers deep insight into economic theory while encouraging you to apply this analytical framework to economic challenges and broader societal and political matters.
