Our School is located at the University Hospital of Wales campus, the UK's third-largest university hospital. You'll have placement opportunities with Cardiff and Vale University Health Board as well as Aneurin Bevan Health Board, giving you diverse clinical experiences across South East Wales.
We offer programs accredited by both the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This creates a dynamic interdisciplinary setting featuring unique opportunities like shared learning, collaborative assessments with other healthcare students, and inter-professional education (IPE) that few institutions can match.
Our Clinical Simulation Suite contains advanced skills labs with realistic ward, community, home, and emergency environment simulations. These lifelike training spaces let you safely practice critical skills, building competence and confidence before clinical placements, preparing you to lead in healthcare's fast-changing technological landscape.
Throughout the three-year program, diverse clinical placements will help you connect classroom learning with real-world practice while exploring various career paths available after graduation. You'll receive guidance from seasoned nurse mentors dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.
Graduates qualify for Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as Adult Nurses, opening doors to healthcare careers both in the UK and internationally.
