The PgD and MSc Dietetics programs have received approval from the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accreditation from the British Dietetic Association.
Throughout the program, students develop into adaptable practitioners capable of meeting evolving societal demands. The curriculum fosters critical thinkers and reflective professionals equipped with extensive theoretical knowledge, a questioning mindset, and innovative problem-solving skills.
Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics:
This qualification includes the academic coursework, which parallels the BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics program, plus three NHS placement periods for practical training. Graduates receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics, qualifying them to apply for HCPC registration as Dietitians.
The academic component comprises six Level 7 (Masters) modules. Students also complete Level 5 professional modules to satisfy HCPC and British Dietetic Association curriculum standards, covering subjects like Psychology and Sociology.
