Cardiff Met's BSc Psychology program holds professional accreditation from the British Psychological Society (BPS), enabling students to pursue an employer-recognized psychology qualification.
This BPS accreditation allows graduates to qualify for Graduate or Chartered Membership, boosting employability and creating pathways to advanced Psychology studies.
The curriculum begins with foundational studies in social, developmental, and biological psychology alongside research methods during the first year. Subsequent years offer specialization options in Educational, Clinical, or Forensic psychology, plus diverse elective modules.
Students gain hands-on experience through various work placements and volunteer opportunities. The university collaborates with organizations across educational, clinical, health, forensic, and occupational psychology sectors to facilitate practical application of knowledge.
