Cardiff Met's BA (Hons) Accounting program holds professional accreditation from three prestigious bodies: the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. This recognition allows students to qualify for the highest possible exemptions from these organizations' professional exams.
This degree offers students thorough grounding in all accounting disciplines, equipping them for advanced professional accounting studies.
Those who choose the sandwich course option complete a year-long work placement between their second and final years. We also maintain a strategic collaboration with Graham Paul Chartered Accountants, offering paid summer internships to select Cardiff Met students, potentially leading to full-time graduate training positions.
