The BA (Hons) Accounting program at Cardiff Metropolitan University holds professional accreditation from three prestigious bodies: the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. This accreditation enables students to qualify for the highest possible exemptions from these organizations' professional exams.
This degree offers students thorough grounding in all accounting disciplines, equipping them for advanced studies toward professional accounting certifications.
Those who choose the sandwich course option complete a year-long work placement between their second and final years. Furthermore, our established collaboration with Graham Paul Chartered Accountants creates opportunities for paid summer internships lasting 12 weeks, with potential pathways to graduate training positions for selected Cardiff Met students.
