Cardiff Met's BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance program holds professional accreditation from three prestigious bodies: the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. This accreditation enables students to qualify for significant exemptions from these organizations' professional exams.
This degree offers students thorough grounding in all accounting disciplines, laying the foundation for advanced professional accounting studies.
Those who choose the sandwich course option complete a year-long work placement between their second and final years. We also maintain a strategic alliance with Graham Paul Chartered Accountants, offering select Cardiff Met students paid summer internships lasting 12 weeks, with potential pathways to graduate training positions.
