Our Occupational Therapy program prepares you to become a certified occupational therapist, equipping you with skills to develop practical solutions for daily challenges faced by individuals and communities.
You'll collaborate with people and groups to support their ability to perform routine activities (such as dressing, working, shopping, studying, or playing sports). The program includes supervised clinical placements across various healthcare and social service settings.
Upon successful completion, you'll qualify to register as an occupational therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

What you'll learn
From day one, you’ll be supported to become a compassionate, adaptable practitioner, ready to respond to the changing needs of healthcare and explore new and emerging occupational therapy roles.
You’ll practise your skills in our state-of-the-art simulation suite and apply them during practice placements, working alongside experienced occupational therapists across a range of health and social care settings.
Our course also emphasises integrity and occupational justice, giving you the tools to advocate for individuals and communities and challenge traditional boundaries in occupational therapy practice.
CCCU accepts a broad range of international qualifications for admission to our courses.
Offers of a place can only be made after a successful interview and are subject to a satisfactory reference, health clearance and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Health clearance will include vaccinations for NHS placements, and evidence of vaccination status may be required by placement providers or the university.
