Earning a PhD requires conducting approved research on a selected topic and defending your written dissertation during an oral examination. Your research must offer either new insights to the field or innovative applications of current knowledge. The dissertation, limited to 80,000 words, must showcase thorough understanding and analytical engagement with the subject area.
BNU invites prospective students to pursue research degrees in diverse fields such as: Nursing, health and wellness, Art, design, performance and environmental studies, Business, Management, Aviation and Security, as well as Higher Education.
We provide two research degree options: Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). While both programs are completed at BNU, the degrees are conferred by Staffordshire University. As a research student, you'll be registered with Staffordshire University while also being enrolled at BNU, which will oversee your academic guidance and support throughout your studies.
