Earning a PhD requires investigating an approved subject and defending a written dissertation during an oral defense. Your research must offer new insights to the field or creatively apply existing knowledge. The dissertation, limited to 80,000 words, must showcase thorough understanding and analytical engagement with the subject area.

We provide two research degree options: Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). While both programs are completed at BNU, Staffordshire University confers the degrees. As a research candidate, you'll be registered with Staffordshire University while also being enrolled at BNU, where we oversee your academic guidance and support.
