Our MSc Physician Associate program follows the Physician Associate Curriculum Framework, equipping you to excel in the National Examination and thrive in healthcare settings.
Expert faculty will train you in comprehensive patient care, including conducting physical exams, taking medical histories, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The curriculum integrates fundamental scientific principles, applying anatomical and pathophysiological knowledge to real-world healthcare scenarios. Developed collaboratively with healthcare trusts and placement providers, this program delivers essential skills for clinical practice and future employment. Alongside core studies, we support your exploration of specialized interests to advance your professional aspirations.
The program requires completion of at least 1,600 clinical practice hours (including up to 200 simulation hours) to meet competency standards. Placements span diverse specialties: General Practice, Acute Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Surgery, plus elective opportunities in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Neurology, and other fields.
