Designed for future engineers looking to build a strong mechanical engineering foundation, this program welcomes those enthusiastic about technology, innovation, and creating societal change. Students can specialize in one of three fields: aerospace engineering, renewable energy technologies, or mechatronics & robotics. The BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree equips learners with thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and their real-world uses. Combining theory with hands-on practice, the curriculum covers key areas like mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, fluid dynamics, and control systems. By emphasizing core principles, lab work, industry placements, and creative design challenges, students gain essential skills for the Mechanical Engineering field. With its practical approach, graduates develop the expertise to tackle complex engineering issues, devise inventive solutions, and collaborate across disciplines. An optional placement year allows students to gain valuable industry experience. Additionally, participants may collaborate with Wescott Venture Park in Aylesbury, where students and faculty can utilize advanced training resources at the Wescott Space Cluster to boost their practical and research skills. IELTS Academic: 6.0 overall with minimum of 5.5 in all areas and TOEFL iBT: 80 overall with minimum of 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 20 in Speaking and 18 in reading
