This Bachelor of Science with Honors in Specialist Practitioner Qualification is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a comprehensive program. Upon completion, graduates can register their qualification with the NMC as both a Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing and a Community Practitioner Nurse Prescriber.

Through this program, you'll acquire the essential competencies and foundational understanding required to excel as a District Nursing Specialist Practitioner. Blending equal parts academic study (50%) and hands-on clinical experience (50%), you'll develop into a proficient Reflective Practitioner and effective leader.

Qualification Requirements

The academic criteria for admission to this programme are normally a diploma (120 credits at level 5) in nursing. However experienced nurses who have at least 60 credits at level 5 will be asked to provide evidence to the programme team of their ability to study at level 6.

IELTS Academic - 6.0 overall with minimum of 5.5 in all areas.
TOEFL iBT - 80 overall with minimum of 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 20 in Speaking and 18 in reading
