This BA acting program equally emphasizes both screen and stage performance, providing ample opportunities to explore various acting styles and techniques. You'll refine and expand your acting abilities through practical projects and live assignments, while also developing industry connections and the business acumen crucial for success as a professional actor.
The course is available as a four-year option that begins with a Foundation Year. The BA (Hons) Acting Foundation Year helps strengthen academic skills and self-confidence, enabling you to assess your strengths and areas for growth before advancing to the undergraduate degree.
Through hands-on workshops and study of relevant texts, you'll examine diverse acting approaches such as method acting, physical theater, post-dramatic styles, and more experimental techniques. Guided by industry professionals, you'll explore acting methodologies from the past century and experiment with different performance concepts to incorporate into your own work.

UCAS tariff score of: 32 - 56 IELTS Academic - 6.0 overall with minimum of 5.5 in all areas. TOEFL iBT - 80 overall with minimum of 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 20 in Speaking and 18 in reading.
